Haley Johnson is a Madison native and third year member of Madison Contemporary Dance. She began dancing at age 5 at A Step Above Dance and Music Academy, where she stayed until graduating high school. Here she studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater. She attended multiple Madison Contemporary Dance intensives while in high school. Upon graduation from Madison East High School, Haley began attending UW Madison to pursue a BS in dance with an emphasis in dance/movement therapy. While attending UW Madison Haley has performed works by Chris Walker, Li Chiao-Ping, Jin-Wen Yu, and Christian Von-Howard. She also teaches at A Leap Above Dance Academy.
