Madison Contemporary Dance seeks artistic, collaborative, and hard-working male and female dancers, current high school seniors and older, trained in contemporary and/or street styles.
​
MCD dancers receive a season stipend, pay for performances, and sponsorships such as a year-long gym membership. Dancers receive professional photography and videography of their work and promotion as individual artists. Dancers have the opportunity to earn additional income through teaching, admin work, and fundraising through MCD. Dancers interested in teaching in the area are aided with teacher training and job placement.

Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings 4-8 pm from April through November, plus the Dance for a Cause Festival mid Febuary TBA.
​
Dancers may join the company after finishing college for the year if they are at a school some distance from Madison. This will be noted in the audition application.
