Ximena Linares began her dance education at the School of Madison Ballet and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a minor in French. During her time at Stevens Point, she performed in Afterimages - a student-directed and choreographed production, as well as Danstage, a faculty produced show. As her studies at the university concluded, Ximena performed in Amherst, Wisconsin with choreographer, Monica Endres and later in Madison, Wisconsin with Kanopy Dance Company II. Currently, Ximena works in behavioral therapy for children with autism and with Madison School and Community Recreation in the Arts and Enrichment department. Ximena discovered new passions in furthering her modern dance training and performance and wishes to pursue new choreographic work.
