Ella Larson

Ella Larson is a versatile young dancer whose passion and dedication have shaped her into a rising artist in the contemporary dance world. She began her training at the age of eight at A Step Above Dance and Music Academy, where she continues to study as both a student and a member of the competition company. Through this experience, Ella has built a strong technical foundation across multiple styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, and modern.
 

As a competitive dancer, Ella has been recognized for her talent and artistry, earning scholarships, national invitations, judges’ choice awards, and placements in overall competitions. Beyond the studio, she has sought out additional training and performance opportunities, particularly in contemporary, where she continues to expand her skills and artistic voice.
 

Ella is also an emerging teacher and mentor, regularly leading technique classes at A Step Above for students ranging from ages 3 to 14. Teaching has become a meaningful part of her journey, allowing her to share her knowledge and inspire younger dancers while continuing to grow in her own artistry.
 

Now beginning her first year as a company apprentice with Madison Contemporary Dance, Ella is eager to deepen her training, performance experience, and creative exploration. With her strong work ethic, versatility, and passion for dance, she is poised to make a lasting impact both in the studio and on stage.
