Kylee Krutsinger
Dance is the way I express myself. It makes me feel free like the rest of the world just fades away. I want to be able to share my abilities with others in a way that makes them feel transported from the stress and worry of everyday life.
My Story
Kylee started dancing at five years old. The majority of her dance education came from A Step Above where her main areas of practice were ballet and jazz and she participated in competitive dance there as well. Kylee has also spent some time at Monona Academy of Dance where she continued to develop her abilities. Kylee has always been taught to work hard and that networking is a good way to grow in the dance world. Growing up Kylee was mainly a ballet and jazz dancer, but she continued to explore more styles such as contemporary, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. Kylee would consider herself to be a contemporary dancer. Kylee recently participated in Isthmus Dance Collective's D.E.L.V.E. project where she performed in Indian and contemporary style pieces at the MYArts Theatre. Kylee has also been a ballet instructor at Foundations Dance for two years where she has taught different skills and choreographed for her high school dance team. This is Kylee’s first year with Madison Contemporary Dance as a company apprentice.
