Residing in Lake Geneva, WI, Joshua Brumm is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point BA Dance program. He began his performance career at the early age of 9 with the Aquanut Water Shows of Twin Lakes, WI. He discovered his passion for performing through these exciting water skiing experiences. In high school, he started exploring musical theatre, the dance team, and eventually began formal dance training at the Dance Factory in Delavan, WI.
After graduation Joshua pursued a degree in dance at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. During his time at UWSP he trained under Joan Karlen, Michael Estanich, and Jeannie Hill. He performed in many dance and musical productions, had choreography featured in multiple produced shows, and worked with guest artists such as Eddy Ocampo and Nick Pupillo. Joshua is a three-time recipient of the Kathryn Bukolt Memorial Award/Scholarship and is a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
Outside of Madison Contemporary Dance, Joshua participates in many musical theatre and dance productions in the southern Wisconsin region. Joshua also teaches at many different studios throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois. He loves to share his passion for dance and the performing arts in any way that he can.
