Jailyn Schroeder

Growing up in Delavan, WI Jailyn trained at The Dance Factory from ages 3 to 18. She then pursued dance as a career and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography with a Minor in Somatics. While studying at UWM, She trained in various styles including, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, African, Jazz, Yoga, Pilates, Composition, Improvisation, Laban, and more. A big part of her college career was researching injury prevention for athletes through dance movement. ​

 

Jailyn had the opportunity to work with many great choreographers during her time at UWM including, Simone Ferro, Maria Gillespie, Bernard Brown, Caitlin Mahon, and Dani Kuepper. ​

 

Since graduating she works at three dance studios in southeast Wisconsin and received her Pilates certification from Eleven Pilates Studio, located in Milwaukee, WI. She enjoys sharing her love for movement and injury prevention with children, teens, and adults. ​

 

This is Jailyn’s second year with the company and she loves to be apart of this dance community.
