Emily O’Malley is a dancer and choreographer from Fitchburg, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point majoring in Dance and minoring in Psychology, graduating Spring of 2019. There, she studied with Michael Estanich, Joan Karlen, Jeannie Hill, Pamela Luedke, and Amy Beversdorf. At the university, Emily has worked with guest artists including Nick Pupillo, Gerald Avery, Eddie Ocampo, Max Pollak, and Rennie Harris’ company members. Emily was a four year member and two-year captain of the UWSP Dance Team.. Her choreography has been performed for sports half-time entertainment as well as competed and placed Nationally. Emily taught at Expressions Dance Institute from 2018-2019. Now, she is coaching the Edgewood High School Dance Team and teaching at A Leap Above in the Madison area. With plans to move to Los Angeles at the end of this year, Emily is looking forward to her first season to grow and perform with Madison Contemporary Dance.
