Danielle Peterson

Danielle Peterson began taking ballet classes at age 3, her love and passion for dance only grew from there. From age 9-18 Danielle was on the competition dance team at Studio One Dance School. Throughout her competition dance career, Danielle won several high honor awards at competitions including “Most Outstanding Performance”. Danielle performed in Madison Ballet's “The Nutcracker” for six consecutive years and also performed in “Peter Rabbit's Ballet”. After high school, Danielle became the Captain of the Edgewood College Dance Team and performed at various sporting events. During college, Danielle taught jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical dance classes to several advanced competition teams in the Madison area. Danielle loves to challenge herself by learning and creating complicated new leaps, turns and tricks. Besides dancing, Danielle's other passion is nursing. Danielle graduated from Edgewood College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and is now employed full-time as a Registered Nurse. Danielle danced with MCVD during the 2011-2013 & 2017 seasons.
