Andy Zavadsky started his dance career at age 3 at Next Step Dance Studio in Franklin, WI where he studied ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. By the age of 8, he entered into the competitive world where he began winning regional and National titles for his outstanding technique and showmanship. Upon graduation of high school, he attended the University of Alabama under the direction of Cornelius Carter and Lawrence Jackson on a full academic and athletic scholarship. He double majored and received his Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Exercise Science in May 2020. During his time at UA, he choreographed 7 staged pieces for their semi-annual performance “Dance Alabama” and 3 staged pieces for their annual show “Dance Collection.” This is Andy’s first season with MCD and he is very excited to continue sharing his passion of dance with the Madison community.
