No Cost for Audience 

The purpose of the Festival is to give local dance students a special performing, learning, and networking experience while also raising funds to support children in our community who do not have access to dance opportunities. The broader goal is to bring people of different backgrounds together to grow our local community.

Student Participation Fee Covers 

  • Master Classes with current working professional dancers and artistic directors 

  • Networking Fair

College dance departments

College dance teams

Professional dance companies 

Dancer health and rehabilitation resources

  • Family and friends attending the professional theater performance no tickets needed 

  • The venue rental, lights, flooring, dressing rooms, stage management, security, insurance, custodial, and program production 

  • Digital program for mobile phones   

  • Professional videography with supportive adjudication notes by professionals 

  • Positive feedback for students to grow as technicians and artists

  • Positive feedback for choreographers and teachers to guide and inspire 

  • An exceptional team bonding experience for dance groups

  • Growth in character by using art to give back to the community

  • All proceeds from the event will go to support the Madison Contemporary Dance Outreach Program, which provides year-round training for local underserved children who have no access to arts training as well as outreach programs at community centers and dance events at neighborhood parks and community spaces
